Jaden's Sunflower

Do you remember the little sunflower Jaden started growing a few months ago?

It's been 3 months since I last posted a picture.

I'm sure you are imagining a huge, majestic sunflower about now, right?

Unfortunately, the little flower did not live up to its potential.

I know we did a few things wrong.

It should have been planted out in the sun, for one thing.

It probably would have done better in the ground instead in a pot.

I am amazed that it bloomed. The stem is sooooo skinny and lanky.

But, it did grow and bloom and Jaden is thrilled.

Way to go, little flower!
